The unthinkable is happening.

 

Roxy Vibe, notorious as a den of late-night escapades and the promise of not needing someone's phone number, will soon be shut down permanately. The final day Vibe will be open will be June 20th.

 

The Roxy crew are doing big things (See The Queen of Rock) and need to focus their time and energy elsewhere. Stay tuned to WaaKao because we will feature some stories about Vibe in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, go down and have a drink and reminisce about some of the good (and oh so good) times you've had in Vibe.

   A friend and I were talking about this today and we both thought that even though there is a lot of VIBE hate, every city needs that 'last resort' type place. what will people do now at 4AM? many thing DV8 is too druggy. will any place step up and be the new VIBE?
