The Chinese are Invading Taiwan...To Play Hockey
長久以來，中華民國冰球協會以及中華冰球聯盟-國際組(CIHL)一直致力於提倡台灣的冰球風氣，以及維繫兩岸在冰球上的友誼。本著這樣的精神，我們非常歡迎中國大陸瀋陽冰鷹隊來到台灣，這也將是台灣第一次以冰球友誼競賽的方式，邀請中國男子冰球隊來台北交流。
The
Chinese Taipei Ice Hockey federation and the Chinese Taipei Ice Hockey
League - International Division has long been committed to building
Taiwan hockey and bringing together a brotherhood of hockey within
Taiwan and Asia. With this spirit of friendship in mind we are very
pleased to welcome the Shenyang Ice Eagles, the first Chinese Men’s Ice
Hockey team to visit Taipei for some friendly games of hockey.
瀋陽業餘冰球冰鷹隊於2002年成立於中國遼寧省。球隊的成員主要來自於瀋陽市以及部分來自於哈爾濱和上海的隊員。冰鷹隊之前曾到過俄羅斯、韓國以及香港比賽，同時他們也參加每年冬天，於哈爾濱冰雪節所舉辦的國際業餘冰球競賽。
The
Shenyang Ice Eagle amateur ice hockey team was created in Liaoning
province in 2002. The players are primarily from Shenyang city with
additional players from Harbin and Shanghai. The Ice Eagles have
previously travelled to Russia, Korea and Hong Kong as well as
attending the International Amateur Hockey contest held during the Ice
Festival in Harbin each winter.
台北國際颱風隊主要由長期定居台灣的外國人所組成，並且在台灣、亞洲地區的冰球錦標賽中維持長達五年的資歷；最近，他們剛於十月份從曼谷、泰國返台，也就是他們贏得2009微笑盃經典冰球賽第一名的地方。
The
Taipei International Typhoon is mostly comprised of local expats from
around Taiwan and has been representing Taiwan in Ice Hockey
Tournaments around Asia for 5 years. They recently returned in October
from Bangkok, Thailand where they won the 2009 Land of Smiles Hockey
Classic.
台北颱風隊是由中華冰球聯盟-國際組的七個隊伍中，每隊挑選出2位年齡低於20歲的成員所組成。
The Taipei Typhoon Selects consists of 2 players over the age of 20 from each of the CIHL International Division’s 7 teams.
中
華民國U20冰球代表隊目前正積極準備參加2010國際冰球總會IIHF世界U20第三級青年冰球錦標賽，這是他們第一年參加這場比賽。其中大部分的球員
皆曾為中華18歲冰球隊的成員，也就是贏得了2009世界U18第三級青年冰球錦標賽第3名，以及2008年在墨西哥舉行世界U18第三級青年冰球錦標賽
第2名亞軍的球隊。
Chinese Taipei Under-20 National Team is entering its
first year of IIHF Division Ⅲ competition. Most of its players played
previously for the under-18 team where they finished 3rd in the
Division III A Finals in Taipei in 2009 and 2nd in 2008 in Mexico.
