Massive Attack Attacks Taipei
What makes Massive Attack so massive? Daddy G and 3D, the collaborative producers from Bristol, England have been in the music biz since the 1980's. Starting off in the soundsystem business with a sound called the Wild Bunch they branched off into production, Massive Attack itself started as a spin-off production trio in 1988, with the independently-released song, "Any Love", sung by falsetto-voiced singer-songwriter Carlton McCarthy. With some backing from big fan and singer Neneh Cherry.
The rest is history, working with some of the biggest names in music, countless singles, movie scores and releasing 5 studio albums Blue Lines (1991), Protection (1994). Mezzanine (1998), 100th Window (2003), Heligoland (2010).
Massive Attack performs in Taipei at the Twinkle Rock Festival on July 28th at the Nangang Arena.
